Evaluating training is of utmost importance because then the higher management can get an idea of how effective the training is, what are the bottlenecks, where is it lagging what extra can be done to ensure that the process improves and what all the members attending the program have learnt. Also it gives an idea of whether to alter the training material as per the needs of the business or not.

Continuous checks improves the quality and productivity of the entire program and lastly the management needs to know that is there a sync between the training programs and the long term business goals, which can be done by evaluating the training process.
