Human resources are an extremely essential part of an organisation's strategy as the quality and commitment of workforce responsible for implementation of the strategy determines its chances of success. HR must align its activities to recruit, train, retain, reward and sustain a quality workforce that is needed to put the brainchild of company's think tank into action. It must be in line with the organisation's growth plans, quality improvement initiatives and cost effectiveness measures in order to train the employees' to be up to date to meet the challenge, increase their numbers to meet the demand that will rise as a result of growth plan, sustain them to remain relevant  in a highly competitive work environment, plan succession for business continuity and drive leadership development programs and evaluate the employee performance to keep the overall organisational output at best possible level. An efficient and in sync HR is a key for competitive advantage for a business because it deals with those who actually drive the strategy on the ground.

2. In highly competitive scenario, organisations continuously strive to keep their employees up to date with latest development in the environment and help them to remain at their best performance level to ensure competitive advantage for the company. In a dynamic scenario, which has become ever changing with technological advancements, global connectivity and global economic changes, adpoting the global best practices are a norm for all progressive industries. Training and development is therefore no longer periodic activity, and goes on throughout the year to meet the challenges of dynamic environment.
