Answer #1
TOTAL SHARES TOTAL NO, OF HOLDERS TOTAL VALUE OF HOLDINGS NET ACTIVITY
AMAZON 284,770,354 2,472 521,622,400,532 3,924,870
E BAY 847,352,033 985 27,132,212,097 23,174,987

After comparing two organisations, it can be seen that Ebay is holding too much stock and Ebay is incurring too much cost.

Effectiveness measures how successfully the companys achieves its desired outputs. In this case the output by E bay is far more greater than Amazon.

Efficiency measures how successfully the inputs by any organisation have been transformed into outputs. here too E bay has better effieciency .Even the stocks holding by a single individual is more showing how efficiently they are managing their stocks.

Economy is measured by focusing the cost of the resources consumed by any organisation and the value of the output delivered in a given time frame. Amazon is currently proving to be more economic as it trying to expand its reach and market share geographically and monetarily respectivly.

Drip irrigation is much more efficient: if 4 acre-feet of water are applied to the land using this technology, plants will actually consume 3 af. The agronomic production function is given by y = 4e − 0.25e2, where e...
