Refrigerator safety act - the death of children due to suffocation in the rferigerator led to the formulation of the refrigerator safety act in 1956 which states that all refrigerator manufacturers nee dyo adopt the use of the magnetic mechanism in the refrigerator doors instead of the existing latch mechanism that are casuing the death.

Toxic Substances Control Act - the act prohibits the manufacture of a chemical product which is not listed in the inventory if the law. The chemical can be a new one or an existing one needs to be listed in the inventory of the law. The environmental protection agency regulates the act.
