Because, the same strategies or approcah worked in a particular country cannot be assumed to work in other countries too. This is due to the cultural changes, demographic factors, tastes and preferences of the people of those countries and other factors like government regulations, industry attractiveness, resource constraints, and brand recognition.

Every business needs to consider all the above stated and other related aspects to market their products or services in multiple nations, apply suitable strategies which matches their markets needs, and implement effective segmentation, targeting and positioning.
