What is your personal-best leadership story and what do you already know firsthand about leadership from your experience?
My personal best leadership story is from my last organization. I was working in a team when the management introduced some significant changes in the process we were working for years. The task was to shift to a new process without losing productivity. The leader we had was a transformational leader. He had handled the team quite exceptionally. He took several meetings where he taught us how we can shift from one process to another without losing productivity. He encouraged us, motivated us, and provided us the reason why it is necessary. He stood by us whenever we had any difficulty. In the last, we were able to sync with the new process that too with improved productivity. The management increased our salaries next month onward as we had proved ourselves. We knew it was because of our leader.
There are a few things now I know about leadership:
1. Leadership is not about giving tasks but about helping you to do them
2. Leaders do not just motivate you but stand by you when you work and teach you at every step.
3. Leadership is something that can be learned.
4. A right leadership can make you do even those tasks that may look impossible to you.
