What is one thing that you can do, either in your current role, or in your future role as an engineer, to address implicit bias

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Implicit bias is the stereotype or attitudes that we have on certain individuals and that too without our conscious knowledge for example, as a manager I believe that the new joinee is not serious about work because he is a fresher. This is something that may have a negative impact on the actual way of doing business because this is not expected from a manager of any professional in the field, and in order to get rid of implicit bias, I believe that we need to promote self awareness based on which we should get to k ow the bias that we possess and get rid of the same by avoiding such imacts as well.
