In my view, employees who are directly dealing with the customer and getting customer satisfaction on good scale should be put on the Incentive plan to motivate and perform well to earn more. Thus, other employees such as Cleaner/Spotters and counter people should be put on a similar plan but based on the quality of work they perform so that they can get benefitted by the incentive plan. Overall, employees whose performance directly impacts the business profits and outcomes should put on incentive plan rather considering entire workforce as at the end of the day it’s customer who matters lot to any business and its production & operations.
