With the shortage of healthcare professionals, have the economic, societal, and legal pressure brought an end to age, race, national origin and disability discrimination in the healthcare workplace?
This is quite and interesting question because we know that even if we are the most competitive country according to global and index and even if we believe in equality, there are certain aspects that are still present and we have not yet been able to get rid of the same. Discrimination based on age, race, national origin and disability is quite a common phenomenon and irrespective of the laws and regulations, such aspects are still quite visible although the number has reduced to some extent as diversity is being promoted and specially in healthcare the requirement is huge and people from other rcluntries re being invited to the United States as well as well doctors from various other countries working in USA, therefore we cannot blatantly state that this has brought an end to discrimination but yes, it can be stated that we are on the right track to end it sometime in the near future.
