Yes, I would like to agree with the statement strongly that the price of each and every commodity should be considered based on the cost of the commodity incurred by the business in actual because the organization ideally should not sell at a loss because the objective of a business is to generate revenue and incur profit from the same and this will contradict the basic concept of buisness therefore the organization needs to plan in order to have some margin of profit that will ensure that the organization are achieving their basic objectives.
The cost to a company is an important factor that needs to be covered along with some more so that profit is achieved that will help the organization in the long run.
