Walmart tied up with manufacturers directly so that it can acquire the products at reduced prices and it also started selling product in bulk quantities. It will help the firm to sell at low cost yet gain profits. It also succeeded in establishing itself in various places where trade is more and hence people tend to buy goods in bulk and at low prices which is an advantage for Wal mart. Hence it gained the competitive advantage and os sustaining it with it's services and availability of goods when compared to other firms.
