Are you able to see if an organization lacks "strategic direction"? Provide your rationale or an example. Does the visibility matter if you are within the organization or merely a consumer/customer?
Strategic direction in an organization is a compass which helps keeping company in right direction always. Any strategic direction will definitely help the companies in growing strategically after evaluating many pro and cons.
Yes I can see an organization which lacks strategic direction. The company in my example is a food delivery startup which needs to supply food to the household but it lacks strategic direction because it uses minitrucks for the supply of foods to a society where as the requirement should be small bikes which can reach out to the small lanes of the colonies and societies. Due to this wrong decision their delivery time is not appropriate and people prefer not to offer the food through this website/app.
This is visible within the organization and if you are consumer or customer, then too you can be able to see the wrong or lack of strategic direction.
