Qualitative research: It is one of the important method of research methodology. Following are the advantages of this type of research methodology.

1. Data is based on the people observation and assessment
2. Data is based on real experience and in genuine form
3. It is coming from the ground level.
4. Can be done on smaller sample size which is pretty much available
5. Can be turn into many forms to show the reality of the things at ground level

But at the same time it has many disadvantages as well

1. This data is pretty much subjective in nature
2. Difficult to use this data in deriving the result and decision making quantitatively
3. Further work on qualitative data is not an easy task
4. Too much dependency on the mood of the respondent
5. Can’t be trusted religiously.
