As human beings we can try to be as much professional as we want to, but there would be certain bias that we may experience and the most prevalent of the same would be the confirmation bias which is nothing but preference given to our pre existing beliefs and hypothesis that we possess regarding any concept or aspect as well. This is something that impacts the process of decision making and the decision that is being taken by any individuals, as a manager if someone believes that quantity needs to given preference over quality, the decision will be focused on quantity more than that of quality and we cannot deny the fact that almost all of use possess certain bias regarding the same.

Selection bias is the process by which selection of an individual, or approach or process is done based on our preference over certain aspects and we generally may experience this during recruitment of individuals.
