Do you believe labor unions currently serve a purpose in our economy or is there no longer a need for them?

I believe that labor unions have a particular purpose in the organization and that is to act as a definite platform to bridge the communication gap between the management and the employees. The employees who are unable to report their voice to the management are helped the labor unions although Organizations today prefer Human Resource who play the role of employees advocates and I believe that organizations need to standardize the same practice so that the role of the unions and their impact is reduced.
