a. As operations of a business requires a business process management which is quite different from the project management as projects are temporary.

b. Operations in the business requires certain policies and procedures where project management lacks.

c. Project management drive change in the organization, while operations require a process that will gain competitive advantage while reducing the overall cost of the operations.

d. Project management cannot fulfill the certain requirements of the business such as stress or time management, goals or operational requirements.
