Skills Leadership is a theoretical approach that describes the tangible skills that a leader must have to be effective. Three primary types of skills are highlighted including Technical, Human, and Conceptual skills

Example:- Returning servicemen and servicewomen are an excellent example of Skills Leadership in action. In 2017 there is a reduced number of returning veterans and an even smaller pool of those that bring technical skills and experience that translate to civilian jobs. A skill that translates well in the civilian world includes leadership, IT security, computers, engines, medical training, drones and work on nuclear-powered submarines.
