Question #2
Thinking about the Milgram and Zimbardo studies, do you think you would behave the same or differently in those situations? Why or why not?
Thinking about the Milgram and the Zimbardo studies, I think that I would have not behaved similarly or in the same way in both situations. This is because in the Milgram experiment I had the choice of not inflicting shock to the learner. It would have been my personal choice in order to shock the learner for giving wrong answers. Instead of increasing the intensity of the shock, I would have given small intensity shocks. However, in the Zimbardo experiment, I did not have any choice and was forced to follow the orders. Even penalized for not obeying the commands. Therefore, the outcome would have been different.
