If we look a the past leadership of Chiquita, it is quite clear that it is mainly a transactional leadership. While on the other hand, the existing leadership can be characterized as more value-oriented, transformational in nature and more responsible ethically. The present leadership has a global perspective and focus more on future prospects.

The current leadership of the organization has led the entire organization towards a highly noticeable change towards a direction which is quite helpful in safeguarding the organization for its ultimate sustainability and existence.
