Feedbacks are the important things to be shared with a subordinate by managers. It is equally important if given in vice versa but let’s talk about managers giving feedback to the subordinates

  1. Managers should always be giving true feedback and genuine feedback and not over-excited feedback
  2. Feedback should be balanced and not too much critical
  3. The language of the feedback session should be polite and not harsh
  4. Subordinate side story should not be ignored
  5. A fair amount of time should be given to the subordinate to put their point as well.

Constructive feedback session should be like

  1. Calm and healthy
  2. Fair talk
  3. Receive and giving of feedback
  4. Engaged session of manager and subordinate
  5. Healthy discussion
  6. Relevant feedback sessions
