There are many definitions of public relations. which one do you think best reflects reality? Why? answer must be 20 lines long.

In Effective Public Relations, Scott M. Cutlip, Allen H. Center, and Glen M. Broom state that “public relations is the management function that identifies, establishes, and maintains mutually beneficial relationships between an organization and the various publics on whom its success or failure depends.” I believe that definition best reflects reality as I believe that the entire role of any public relations professional is to ensure that the brand is protected by ensuring the relationships with the public are continuously maintained and not compromised. In the event that a relationship is compromised, it is again the public relations professionals’ role to identify the issue, establish a response to the issue, and ultimately get the relationship back on track.
