Should the change agent be internal or external? Why?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

I believe that the change agent should be an internal individual who is planning to promote and implement a change in the organization and if the individual is an internal individual there are certain advantages like the individual will have a clear vision of the organization and it's objectives that will help the individual in planning for the change that would be effective in such a context and the probability of success would be more as well. Generally external individuals can be successful but the objective of taking internal individuals is to make the process easier, simple and convenient for them.
