a) The advantages for a team without following normal procedures are:

· The activities get completed quickly and there are no delays due to set procedures

· The team morale and motivation is high as the tasks get completed timely

· The team members are able to save time from unnecessary follow ups with other members on status

The disadvantages are:

· There are chances of issue due to non-adherence to set procedure. Example: If a normal protocol is that two members must cross verify the document before giving the approval but to cut down on time, only one person is asked to verify, there are chances that some points may have get missed which could have been highlighted by other person in case of normal procedure

· It negatively impacts the morale of other project team as they feel that their project or work is not that important
