Answer 1 – Structure is one of the most important steps in the process of technical writing. Structure defines the order of the items to be included in document. It is so important for technical writers because of the following reasons –

· With structure, technical writers are able to explain characteristics of technical writing.

· Structure helps them to know how to accomplish the purpose by following proper order of steps.

· It explains all the workings and procedures that make them easy to complete a document.

It can help readers in following ways -

· It defines the procedures and user guides.

· It is used as manual describing the components of a system
