The planning mentality of a manager emphasizes on making plans to counter any temporary scenario or any situation. Whereas, the strategic mentality of a manager emphasizes strategic thinking, assessing, viewing and creating solutions or plans that are highly effective and efficient. The strategic mentality implements skills into the thinking and is visionary that works to complement the ability of a manager.
