Strong critical thinking looks like a supervisor leading his employees in safety meetings and giving the examples of how to stay safe. My supervisor at a previous job always talked to employees every more and talked about an unsafe act. We had to give examples of what could have been done differently. He gave examples of a person not wearing their bump cap when entering a machine and then had an accident that gave him a laceration to his head. We had to explain that we should always wear our bump caps inside the machine and always been aware of what our surrounds obtain. This supervisor always walked us through examples and helped us think critically.
