Plant Will Close for Two Weeks

Economic troubles have hit the Janata Forge Machinists Plant. Many employees have been laid off, and the grapevine has begun to promote rumors that additional employees will be laid off and the company is going bankrupt. This is not true. Communication-related to the initial layoffs was poor and reactive. Top management is convinced that communication between employer and employees must be improved if the company is to survive this economic downturn.

Required: As the plant manager, write a memo informing employees the plant will close for two weeks at Christmas. All workers are to report back to work on January 2.

The main reason to write this memo was to inform you that Janata Forge Machinists plant will be closed for two weeks at Christmas.

You all know that some of the Economic troubles had hit our plant and grapevine had spread many rumors that employees will be laid off. Some the rumors are not correct those are spread out due to the communication problem between the employees.

To recover all these problems company had decided to close the plant for 2 weeks. In this two weeks company will recover some of the financial debts so that we decided to close the company. It was important inform you that employees should come back to their work on January 2. Every employee should report on commencement date.
