Do you agree or disagree that Facebook has the right to do whatever it wants with the data its 1.5+ billion users post on its site? Why or why not? (1-2 paragraphs)
No, I don't agree that Facebook can use the user-generated data and information in whichever way it wants. As a public company, Facebook has certain responsibilities and values which it must uphold. Being one of the biggest platforms for social media users, it has to ensure that data of its users remain private and confidential and is not used in any manner without their consent.
Many of the information shared by the users can be used in a harmful manner. This can jeopardize users' privacy, security, and can increase cyber theft among others. Therefore, as a company possessing such amount of data, Facebook should respect its users and safeguard the data generated by them. Moreover, access to such data should be restricted to a limited few which would ensure that the company enjoys long term success in the idnsuty
