primary and secondary market target for Telecommunication Company

primary market for telecommunication company are those people who are likely to buy the telecommunication services instantly. company needs to identify these market because the main profits depends on this market segment.

secondary market to telecommunication company includes the people who are likely to purcahse its services in future not at a time.these are also profitable segement but company needs to put extra cost & time efforts to convert it into actual cutsomers.

lets, analyze the both market based on the following segementation variables-

1- demographic profile includes the market segment based on thier age, marital status, gender, occupation etc.

age between 18 & 50 above are likely the primary customers

age between below 18 are secondary market as they have to depend on thier parents to purchase the services.

people with occupation are primary cutsomers.

male & female are both primary customers

2-  psychographic profile includes the people with interest, attitude, lifestyle factors.

people who spend most time on talks via phone very much are primary cutsomers.

people who uses internet connection most often are primary customers.

people who likes to travel are secondary market.

3- professional profile includes the people who involves communication via telephone, internet etc are primary customers.

4- geographic profile includes the area or regions like cities, rural area, urban area, countries etc.

in this the home country is the primary market while other countries are secondary market.

people living in cities are most likely to use telecommunication services rather than rural or village areas.
