When should you use of active voice and when should you use passive voice? Write an example of each one being used correctly.

Active voice is used when the subject i.e. the most important person or object in the discussion comes first. In passive voice the main actor is added at the last or end of the sentence.

Passive voice is used when in a sentence we are not aware that who is the main subject or else even if we are aware then the subject i.e. the actor here is not that important, also lastly when the sentence is talked about in general sense and no specific subject is targeted then we use passive voice. Vice versa is for active voice.

Examples:

Active voice: Steve is playing Guitar

Passive Voice: Guitar is being played by Steve.
