The role of communication differs based on the type of culture they are functioning in and based on that their role will differ in low-context and high-context cultures. In high context culture the role of relationships are important and words do not have a huge impact in the process instead the context in which communication is done is prioritized. Non verbal communication can actually serve the purpose in this case as this is of high importance as well.
