The use of the direct channel in which there are no intermediaries involved is important to Walmart because it cuts the cost extra cost involved provides goods directly to the customers. In the Indirect distribution channels, the company offers goods from online sites and offline stores located at different locations that provide customers to order from the site and collect from the store. It provides convenience to the customers thus enhances the reputation.

On the other hand, indirect channels are important as they can cover a large customer base and reaches a large audience with the help of intermediaries. the company can win a competitive advantage by offering better quality products than its competitors through indirect channels.
