1 . What does “Lean in the Office” mean and if you could improve this process, what would you charge (explain why)?
1. Lean in the office is described as the lean which emphasizes on bringing improvements to the manufacturing operations. However, it now focuses on the development of product, processing or order, and other nonmanufacturing processes. This altogether is called lean in the office.
In order to improve this process, I will emphasize on promotion of management practices that will integrate lean in every department and every corner of the organization. Implementation and integration of lean emphasizes more on the adaptation of lean by the employees and manufacturing systems. This is because both the employees and the manufacturing will deal with production and error identification and negation of the same will be conducted by the organization itself.
