Answer #1

Answer:   The field of occupational safety requires that a comprehensive approach is taken by the companies to take care of the accidents and other hazardous incidents. For this purpose it is important to describe and define the terms that are related with such episodes. One of the most important steps that are required to be taken by the companies is to create some arbitrary definition of accidents in the safety program of the company. Such definitions are useful in making the concerned employees understand the meaning of such incidences. They also lay the foundation for defining the processes and procedures for dealing with such incidents. Hence for the development of the effective safety program the companies need to include some arbitrary definitions of accidents in their safety programs.
