Hourly Capacity of stations

A = 60/2.5 =24

B= 60/10 =6

C= 60/15 =4

D=60/4 =15

The slowest resource is station C which has a capacity of 4 units per hour, which restricts the process capacity to this level. The maximum output is 4 per hour.

2. New process time of station C = 15x(1-0.6) =6 minutes

New output of station C = 60/6 =10 per hour.

Number of shifts each week = 6 days x 2 = 12 shifts

Hours per shift = 9-0.5 =8.5

Weekly hours = 12 x8.5 =102
