1. Language barrier : As in Japan, English isn't used as the primary language for communication, therefore coping up with language barrier was a problem for Nissan in Japan.

2. Cultural difference : Business culture in Japan is different as compared to other countries, therefore maintaining a balance between French and Japanese business practices and cultures was a problem.

3. As western countries follows the individualism culture while working, whereas in Japan they put more emphasis on collectivism, where the employees are considered as a part of group and work together to achieve the common goal.
