Answer #1

Material testing is important for all manufacturing and construction industries which potentially influences the social life and its safety. It is important to verify certain aspects of properties of a component or an element with respect to the available specifications. Generally, material testing is performed by a separate agency in their stipulated laboratories to cover the wider range of products which are used in daily life routines to make sure of the durability and safety offered by these products. It actually affects an engineers’ ethical responsibility to protect the public because it actually saves lot of life hence this becomes moral obligation for an engineer to adhere to the standards used for material testing.
