Should the United States be as open as it is with its allies even though the risk of loss is high? Why/why not? Explain.
Ans:- The United States should be open with its allies because:-
a). USA is considered as the powerhouse of world with its 18 trillion economy. USA should play a pivotal role to help in development of it's allies along with it's mutual benefit.
b). USA has recently taken tough stance against free trade agreement. This kind of decison is going to cost entire economy of the world. The example being china - USA trade war which has resulted in fall of stock markets across the world.
c). The key allies of USA are NATO members like Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom. USA has strategic relationship with all these countries and it is open with these countries in terms of trade.
d). USA has also defence treaty with major countries of the world. Apart from NATO members some other countires like South Korea and Israel. These countries help in defence products sale of USA as well.
e). Apart from these, USA has alliance with other major economies of the world like India, Brazil and china which help in mutual interest of these countries.
F). Recently USA has withdrawn its support from RIO environmental agreements, which can impact the environmental conservation program. So USA should help in conservation of environment as well.
g). USA has also banned visa to 7 muslim countires of the world, which can lead to further radicalisation of terrorism. So USA should help maintaining harmony in the world.
