Social inequalities are common in a society where there are some beliefs on race, gender, religion . etnicity etc., People forget they are all human beings when it comes to differing others in the form of religion or gender or sex etc., Media and culture also play their part in reproducing these inequalities bu highlighting one issue and showcasing it inorder to degrade or point out some group . This creates sympathy towards a certain group of people and they start getting favours in the name of equality . But it actually makes other loose those opportunities and hence media and cultue increase the changes of inequality rather than decreasing them.
