Some of the key differences between entrepreneurship and small
business are:
- Entrepreneurship is all about innovation, high growth mindset
and to earn as much profit as it can. Whereas, small business
owners are usually happy with how things are and prefer to maintain
it.
- In entrepreneurship, things are being looked in different ways
and they are often technically minded. Whereas, small business
owners usually do things which others are doing. In other ways,
small business owners are followers.
- Entrepreneurship is always high risking task, whereas, small
business is comparatively safe and much low risk.
- In entrepreneurship, there is a long-term planning with a
readiness to move on from one stage to another to grow. Whereas,
small business owners are often stagnant to their stage with a
little progress, and are more sentimental.
