For walls of a food processing industries following are the requirements.

(a)The material should be long lasting, compact and low on maintennce.

(b) There should be no chances of food contamination from th material of the cladding.

(c) It should be moisture heat and chemical resistant, so as not to degarde and affect the work environment, people and products.

Keeping in mnd, all of these requirements, the facility needs advanced PVC cladding which s better than wood and tiles in terms of durability, resistance to chemicals and moisture and non degradability. It is also low on maintenance. A suitable product will be either laminated or high perfromance PVC cladding.

It has excellent mechnical strength, is very easy to fix, easy on maintenance and takes lesser downtime of the work. The cost is around $15 per square meter.
