A. The management in virtual environment where the team members operate from different places, time zones and in different geographical areas.

B. Network based workplace where the different activities are performed by different specialized units. These units are connected with each other as network, located at different places.

C. Prevalence of flexi-timing and work from home approach while getting connected via online mediums.

D. Pay for performance practices in the workplace as companies pay more, but only to the deserving performance.

E. Contractual nature of work contracts to the majority of employees in the organization.

F. Higher level of diversity in the workplace not only in the recruitment decisions, but also in the promotion decisions

G. One person playing the roles of effective managers as well as effective leader as & when required by the organization.

A manager’s day at workplace 2020 should start even before he reaches the office and intimates the team members to be ready for the meeting via video conferencing at the start time of the office. There will be discussion on, the status of work, plans of work for the day, the possible challenges and solutions and then fixation of the meeting at the end of the day. After the meeting, the manager will take time & interact with the top management to convey the progress, take down their concerns and discuss the daily and long term strategy. Afterwards, the development will be communicated via emails to those management people who are at different locations. Afterwards, the manager will interact with the clients, reaffirming the commitment to meet their expectations and give them the updates regarding the services. The next work, will be to interact with the sales team regarding the business development and issues being faced by them and the necessary support require to them. Finally, the day will get over by interacting with the team reading the day’s work and plan of action for the coming days. The same will be communicated to the higher authorities.
