Answer #1

Q: Dimensional Weight is a practice used by all carriers to apply rates based on a box’s overall dimension, not just its actual weight.

True

Reason: Dimensions Weight is a pricing strategy for the transport of the package, it includes length, breadth, and height of the product including packaging. It also called volumetric weight because of the weight calculated by the space used by the product. But actual weight is based on the product weight with packaging only. Dimension weight help to calculate the cost of shipping after understanding the space used by the product using dimension weight. It helps to calculate the estimated cost of the carrier to product shipping.

All the very best, take care.
