2. Discuss the ethical challenges that the apartheid legacy created for the business environment in South Africa.

In terms of business environment, it has created a narrow thought among employees like race, discrimination and many immoral activities at workplace. As apartheid legacy, people of South African were divided into different categories by their races and origin . When people will see other as different one superior or inferior to him then it will create complexity into people to people relationships.

In terms of external environment, Due to this legacy now business organizations will have to face some challenges like unstable political turmoil, econmic down turn or less supportive business environment, social differences, legal challenges, environmental laws and technological backwardness. And these come due to unethical mindsets of people as they think that they are a separate nation, race and society. They even create anti-business policies to protect local business groups then foreign companies will have no scope. Even, workers might get hardship, discrimination and exploitation.
