Some of the challenges for advocating long term care are, the number of people required for long-term services is likely to outgrow and due to the economic slowdown reduces the ability for people to pay more for these services, another challenge is the quality of care concerns in terms of adult homes for public assistance residents, living facilities, etc., and financial pressure for the same due to the market driven changes which directly affect the lower-income people. Some of the challenges can be dealt with having Nursing home in the highest proportion place in low income minority communities and having policies which favor affluent communities who can afford the cost.
