In order to build a soapbox derby car we could consider the following steps.

Study and create the design

Gather equipment

Build the frame of the car

Build the front axle assembly

Build the rear axle assembly

Build the seat

Attach the axles to the frame

Attach the seat to the frame

Install brakes and steering ropes

Now, we are going label them as A to I and then determine the preceding activities. Certain activities may need the preceding activities to be complete. For example, you cannot attach the seat without building the seat and the frame of the car.

Let put them on the table as shown below

Once we have built the table, use the information to create the network diagram.
