Answer #1

The brands like Tim Horton and Starbucks are famous in the Canadian markets. Tim Horton has 3 times more outlets in Canada but still, the brands of Starbucks are famous there too. This is because:

· The offerings of Tom Hortons have the list of the menu which is very much Canadian taste oriented which makes the use of cold coffee bases which is more loved in Canada.

· The offerings of Starbucks have both lattes, cold and hot versions of the coffee which is a great change of taste for the Canadian people.

· This makes the Starbucks for the coffee-loving Canadian stuck with the brand of the Starbucks alongside the local brand of Tom Hortons due to the diversity of its offerings.

· The taste of Starbucks is chosen and is a beloved brand for the ones who need a change of taste of their coffee. The product differentiation of the 2 brands makes it work in the Canadian markets.
