Some of the unreasonable expectations in Amazon based on various news articles are:

  1. According to an article by Intelligent living, one of the unreasonable expectations placed on workers is productivity quotas which are to pack hundreds of boxes within an hour.
  2. With AI monitoring the productivity and efficiency of employees, it is not reasonable to think of the workers as machines in measuring their productivity that way.
  3. According to another article by the street, the workers in fulfillment centers were only given 15-minute breaks while working a 10-hour shift which is again not a reasonable time to recharge and be efficient.
  4. The overall requirement of fulfillment centers according to The Street, was that the number of items pushed each day was about 600,000 on normal days and a million on holidays. These are unreasonable expectations from workers in warehouses.
