List some courses of action you could take if you increasingly believed that your colleague was seriously addicted to alcohol and that this problem was interfering with patient safety or the overall well-being of the healthcare facility.

Alcohol addictions also kmown as alcoholism has many side effects from loss of coordination to slurred speech.Alcohol ha very negative affect on the life of its consumer.If i found my colleague to be under the addiction of alcohol i would take the following steps:

Mostly people drink when they are emotional.I would avoid this by being on his side when he is emotionally disturbed.

I would try to offer him soft drinks and more water in parties and would avoid taking him to a bar.

I would suggest him from not hanging out with other drinkers.

Finally,i would take him to a counsellor.
