Homework Answers

Answer #1

answer-

two different intellectual property methods are-

1- patent-

a patent can be defined as the rights of the person who invented the intellectual property out of his mind creation or artistic work. the patent provides the protection to the intellectual property so that others can not make, use or sell the invention.

2- Trademark-

Trademark can be defines as the name, symbol or phrase which is legally registered & can not be used by other person or company.

now, the industry can be food & restaurant industry where these two intellectual property methods can be applied-

the Trademark method can be used to protect the name or logo of the newly setup restaurant from stealing or using by other restaurants.

for example- if we use 3F( family, freinds & food) as the name & logo of the new restaurant & register it then it can not be used by others.

Patent method would be used on our invented dishes & processes to make such dishes so that others can not use or make our patent dish in thier restaurants.

i find the trademark method is most attractive because there is no time limitation of protection of the trademark. if the trademark is registered then it can not be used by others for life or afterlife.

while in patent the invention only be protected for a limited period of time & after that it made available to others for thier uses or innovation etc.

Case Study Google and P&G Swap Employees The cultures of the two companies could not be more different. So what would cause these two large, successful examples of a strong—yet dissimilar—corporate culture to decide to socialise each another’s employees?
